This one seemed to have a little more going on flavor wise but it was still very similar to the other Magic Hat beers I tried that evening.\n\t\t\t\t<\/dd><\/dl><dl class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<dt class='gallery-icon portrait'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='http:\/\/www.beerdestroyer.com\/?attachment_id=186'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"http:\/\/www.beerdestroyer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/2southern_tier_2xipa-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"Southern Tier 2XIPA\" aria-describedby=\"gallery-1-186\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/dt>\n\t\t\t\t<dd class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-186'>\n\t\t\t\tSouthern Tier 2XIPA &#8211; I really don&#8217;t think this thing is dry hopped. If it is an IPA it should be dry hopped. Tasted kinda wacky too. A DFH 60 Min Clone? Tasty none the less. Try it. I tried three different styles of Magic Hat the night that I had this and they were all very similar in taste. I&#8217;m not sure what it is, maybe the yeast they use? Maybe similar ingredients in their recipes? It is a bourbon filled monster of a wheat beer. Tons of vanilla and caramel flavors going on here. \n\t\t\t\t<\/dd><\/dl><br style=\"clear: both\" \/><dl class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<dt class='gallery-icon portrait'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='http:\/\/www.beerdestroyer.com\/?attachment_id=167'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"http:\/\/www.beerdestroyer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/2ale_asylum_bedlam-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"Ale Asylum Bedlam\" aria-describedby=\"gallery-1-167\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/dt>\n\t\t\t\t<dd class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-167'>\n\t\t\t\tAle Asylum Bedlam &#8211; Just drink one.\n\t\t\t\t<\/dd><\/dl><dl class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<dt class='gallery-icon portrait'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='http:\/\/www.beerdestroyer.com\/?attachment_id=181'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"http:\/\/www.beerdestroyer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/2magic_hat_saint_saltan-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"Magic Hat Saint Saltan\" aria-describedby=\"gallery-1-181\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/dt>\n\t\t\t\t<dd class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-181'>\n\t\t\t\tMagic Hat Saint Saltan &#8211; A little coriander showed through but mostly tasted like the Ticket to Rye. I think the beers are so mild in flavor that the yeast is at the forefront of what I taste. I don&#8217;t know how else to explain the Magic Hat beers tasting so similarly.
